Mental Health, Faith & Trauma with Dr. Monica Coleman
I recently had the pleasure of interviewing the brilliant Dr. Monica Coleman. Monica and I went to graduate school together at Claremont, so it was like a little reunion.
She is a mental health advocate, a contemporary theologian and a Professor of Africana Studies at the University of Delaware. Her research interests include black and womanist theologies, African American religions, African traditional religions, sexual and domestic violence, and mental health and theology.
We talked about mental health, faith, and trauma and how they intertwine with one another. Writing about the rich conversation we had together would not do it justice. So, I invite you to listen to episode 38 of The Universe Is YourTherapist Podcast.
